Meet the legend behind the classic Kiwi onion dip

Sixty years after it was created the dip remains a stable at social gatherings in Aotearoa.

Not many recipes are still winners 60 years after they're invented.

However, Maggi's classic Kiwi onion dip has stood the test of time.

Seven Sharp went along to talk to the recipe's creator Rosemary Dempsey in the video above.
