Christchurch man invents wee solution for those who wet pants in public

In the latest episode of Sunday Innovate, Miriama Kamo learns about a breakthrough for people who aren’t able to tell when it’s time to go.

When Mike Brown broke his back six years ago, not being able to walk was only half the battle – he could also no longer feel when his bladder was full.

Mike and a couple of mates from Christchurch have banded together to find a solution. They’re developing Urigo – a sensor connected to a smart phone app that lets you know when you need to go.

They’re hoping to change hundreds of thousands of lives around the world.
