Watch: The incredible moment Russian fishermen rescue two baby bears who got separated from their mother

Two fishermen have come to the rescue of two bear cubs who were drowning in a Russian lake.

The men captured on video the rescue of the bears from Lake Vygozero in the Karelia region last month.

According to the Daily Mail the two bears had lost sight of their mother as they swam across the lake.

The bears began to sink before the fishermen spotted them and intervened.

The video shows the men trying to scoop the cubs up in a fishing net as they hang on for dear life to the side of the boat.

Successfully getting the pair on to their boat, the men sailed back to land and released the bears back into the woods.
