Thunderstorms and heavy downpours caused flooding in parts of London on Sunday (today NZT).
Footage posted on social media showed floodwaters gushing into the entrance of one Pudding Mill Lane tube station in the city's north east.
Dozens of roads and underground lines were also blocked.
There have also been reports of vehicles getting stranded, which includes buses.
A thunderstorm warning is in place for much of southeast England, with 75 to 100 millimetres of rainfall forecast in some places.
