Artist ploughs striking portrait of composer Beethoven into field in Italy

A slice of rural northern Italy now bears the likeness of the famous composer Beethoven.

Artist Dario Gambarin ploughed the 25 square metre face with an old red tractor to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the German composer's birth.

Gambarin's other work includes portraits of Barack Obama, Nelson Mandela and Pope Francis.
