All Blacks captain Kieran Read has remembered back to his first Test match appearance, ahead of his side's clash with Scotland at Murrayfield tomorrow.
Read, 32, made his Test match debut for the All Blacks against the same opposition, at the same venue nearly a decade ago in 2008, this morning looking back on his international career.
He said he remembered trying to not fall over.
"It was pitch black when I ran out," Read said, referring to the Scottish tradition of running out in darkness.
"It went pretty quick, I remember it as a game where I was pretty excited."
Nine years later, Read will play his 108th Test against Scotland tomorrow morning.
