Shannon Frizell isn't quite used to calling himself an All Black yet despite wrapping up his first training camp with the team today.
Frizell, who was one of three new faces named in Steve Hansen's 33-man squad for 2018, said he enjoyed training with his new teammates.
"What made it so special is having New Zealand on my chest - it's pretty cool," he said.
"I wasn't expecting to get here. My focus for this year was with the Highlanders and just to learn as much as I can and now I'm here in the All Blacks environment, I'll pretty much look to do the same."
Frizell said he hopes to represent his family, himself and New Zealand should he get a chance in the black jersey.
His first chance to do so will be next month when France arrives for a three-Test series.
