The Springboks' Rugby World Cup success has been welcomed by a superstar supporter of a different sport,
Tennis icon Roger Federer, a vocal supporter of the Springboks, took to Twitter to post a video of his congratulations to captain Siya Kolisi following South Africa's 32-12 victory over England in Yokohama on Saturday.
"Siya, it's Roger here. Couldn't be more happy for you and the team," Federer said.
"What a victory, what an amazing team effort.
"You guys spent so much time together and you ended up with a big win.
"Many congratulations and I hope I can meet you soon. You're the best.
The Springboks responded, retweeting the video and thanking Federer for his support.
