A neutral referee will officiate the world heavyweight title unification bout between Joseph Parker and Anthony Joshua on April 1 NZT, with Italian Giuseppe Quartarone named to take charge of the fight.
Following the controversy in Parker's last fight against Hughie Fury, where a British referee was initially named to oversee the bout, the British Boxing Board of Control have avoided a similar headache, this time appointing a neutral referee to officiate the match up.
Quartarone has officiated 91 fights in his career, all coming in Europe - as well as having a balanced judging panel, consisting of one New Zealander, one Brit and an American.
Parker's trainer Kevin Barry says that his camp are pleased with the outcome, ahead of the biggest bout of his fighter's career.
"We signed off on those officials," Barry said.
"We're very happy with what the various sanctioning bodies have appointed for us."
Parker and Joshua will face one another in the ring on April 1 NZT in Cardiff.
