'I didn't think I was going to make it' – Sam Clark wins fourth Coast to Coast title

An exasperated Clark crossed the line less than 10 minutes in front of second.

Sam Clark has stormed home to win his fourth Coast to Coast title, crossing the finish line at New Brighton this afternoon.

Clark crossed the finish line in 10:45:01, beating defending champion Dougal Allan, who finished at 10:52:43.

"I didn't think I was going to make it," an exhausted Clark said afterwards.

"I don't think I've ever ridden that hard before, my coach is going to be so happy."
