March 10, 2019

The All Blacks Sevens have toppled Australia 36-12 in their final match on day in one in Vancouver and sit on top of Pool C.

New Zealand bounced back after a shock 26-24 loss to Spain earlier this morning.

Joe Ravouvou struck first for the All Blacks Sevens scoring a long range try, with Sam Dickson and Tim Mikkelson dotting down over the try-line in the first half, to lead Australia 19-0 at the break.

Things got worse for Australia as Ravouvou went on a charging run down the left edge, going onto score his second try of the match.

Ngarohi McGravey Black and Vilimoni Koroi added further hurt for the men in gold, with two more tries for New Zealand.

Australia did manage to show some fight in the second half with two tries of their own.

New Zealand have cemented a spot in the quarter finals tomorrow after the victory.
