The sledge that forced banned Australian batsman David Warner to remove himself from the pitch has been revealed.

Playing club cricket for Randwick-Petersham, Warner temporarily left the field after a verbal clash with a Western Suburbs player, revealed to be Jason Hughes, the brother of late Australian batsman, Phillip.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Hughes reportedly told Warner: "You're a disgrace, you shouldn't be playing cricket."

David Warner walked off while batting following an exchange involving Jason Hughes, the brother of the late Phil.

Warner is currently serving a 12-month ban from professional cricket, after he and former captain Steve Smith were caught ball tampering during their side's Test series against South Africa earlier this year.

Phillip Hughes died after being hit by a ball while batting in 2014.
