Woman dies in Bay of Plenty sawmill accident

A female forestry worker has died after a workplace accident in Kawerau in the Bay of Plenty this morning.

Emergency services were called to a sawmill on Manukorihi Drive at 11.04am.

The death will be referred to the Coroner and Worksafe has been notified.
