Winston Peters remains NZ First leader, deputy spot up for grabs

Winston Peters has been confirmed as New Zealand First's leader.

In a NZ First press release, it says his "sole nomination was carried with acclaim". 

"During a time of upheaval today's confirmation reinforces the stability that New Zealand First brings to the New Zealand political system," it says. 

The deputy leader will be decided at the next caucus meeting.
