Safety is a big focus for police this time of year.
They are always thinking of new ways to get the road safety message through to drivers more focused on the holidays than accident prevention.
This year they've enlisted the help of Officers Minogue and O'Leary, the cops from TVNZ2's Wellington Paranormal.
