A trio of orca were spotting cruising along Papamoa beach last night, much to the delight of beachgoers.
Footage captured from the beach shows a stand-up paddle boarder within metres of the large creatures.
Witnesses told the Bay of Plenty Times that they appeared to be two adults with a calf in tow.
Several people walked down the beach as the orca swam along, following them for up to 2km.
