The beautiful cloak pays homage to her royal status, her pregnancy and her Californian roots.

With their royal tour officially wrapped up, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have sent a thank you message to everyone in New Zealand for the warm reception they experienced.

The official Instagram account for Prince Harry and Meghan posted a touching picture , taken by the Duke, of the Duchess cradling her baby bump in Rotorua's Redwoods along with a heartfelt caption.

"A message from The Duke and Duchess of Sussex," it began.

"Thank you New Zealand for the most wonderful last week of our tour. It has been a privilege to meet so many friendly Kiwis."

The couple said they left New Zealand "feeling inspired and reminded of how every single one of us can make a difference".

To finish, they borrowed a quote from Kate Sheppard.

"The rain that refreshes the parched ground, is made up of single drops."

The royal couple arrived in New Zealand on Sunday, spending days with Kiwis in Wellington, Auckland and Rotorua after having already spent time in Australia, Tonga and Fiji.
