Sunday's Miriama Kamo shares her zero waste journey

As the Sunday presenter found out, food scraps and packaging are two of the biggest contributors to rubbish.

When Miriama Kamo made a New Year’s resolution to live zero-waste for one month she had no idea how hard it would be – or how addictive.

Almost six months on and she’s still discovering new and fulfilling ways to reduce her rubbish footprint.

She did it all with the help of two zero waste nomads, an inspirational family with five kids and the indispensable 6 R’s - rethink, refuse, reduce, reuse, recycle, replace.

Watch the full story of her journey above.
