Staff left shaken after armed men rob Palmerston North dairy

A Palmerston North dairy was robbed by four armed men this morning.

Police say four males entered a dairy on Limbrick Street shortly before 8:30am today armed with weapons.

They took cash and cigarettes, and made off in a late model, dark coloured Mitsubishi SUV.

The store owners were not injured but were shaken by the robbery.

Police are asking the public for sightings of the vehicle and ask them to get in touch with Palmerston North police on (06) 351 3600.
