A second man has been charged over the shooting of another man in Auckland's Whenuapai last month.
On January 14, a man was found with gunshot wounds at a property on Brigham Creek Road, Whenuapai.
A 42-year-old man was arrested on January 18, and has since appeared in court.
Detective Inspector Colin Parmenter says police have now also arrested and charged a 30-year-old man with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and unlawful possession of a firearm.
He also faces charges of possession of ammunition and possession of methamphetamine for supply.

He is due to appear in the Waitakere District Court today.
Police say inquiries are ongoing and they can't rule out further charges.
