Someone may be deliberately poisoning cats with anti-freeze in a suburb in Napier, the SPCA has warned.
A Marewa resident received a letter in the mail today, which was later posted to Facebook.
The letter says there have been "several reports in the area of cats dying due to the ingestion of anti-freeze".
A range of symptoms were also listed, including seizures, coma, a limp body and kidney failure.
