Porirua youth orchestra works to showcase Pasifika talent

Virtuoso Strings Charitable Trust has been working with young people in Porirua for six years.

Virtuoso String Charitable Trust has been on a musical mission for the past six years, giving young people in Porirua more creative opportunities.

Founded in 2013, the orchestra started with around 16 students and now it’s in the hundreds.

Tagata Pasifika’s Taylor Aumua visited the orchestra and its rising stars.
