"I'd like Dylan to come forward to the Police and get this matter resolved," a Police spokesperson said.

The driver is in hospital with moderate injuries after being shot on Saturday night.

Alem Tessema told 1 NEWS how a man and woman ordered him out of the cab after he'd taken them to Miramar and then shot him in the shoulder.

Police today said they have a large team investigating the shooting and are following some "solid" leads.

Police are also seeking a female who was with Nuku at the time.
