Police is investigating the suspicious death of a Whanganui woman who was taken to Whanganui Hospital on the morning of July 31.
The 30-year-old appeared to have non-accidental injuries but was then flown to Wellington Hospital in a critical condition.
The woman died in the early hours of this morning.
A post-mortem has been completed and Whanganui CIB say they are working to "understand the circumstances leading up to her death".
