Police investigating how eight-week-old baby was seriously injured in Auckland home

Police are investigating how an eight-week-old baby was seriously injured at a home in Auckland's Mount Wellington.

The infant was taken to a medical centre in Panmure on Thursday November 8 before being transported to Starship Hospital with serious injuries.

In a statement police say they are working to establish how the victim was seriously injured.

Police have been speaking to the family, but want to hear from anyone who has any information.
