Person dies, others left with injuries following Waikato crash

A person has died following a crash at Tahuna in the Waikato today.

Police were called to the scene on Morrinsville-Tahuna Road at about 10.35am.

Along with the fatality, four people were left with moderate to minor injuries following the crash, which the Serious Crash Unit is attending.

The road is closed and diversions will be in place.

Motorists are advised to expect delays.
