Person dies following Hamilton crash

One person has died following a serious crash in Hamilton this afternoon.

Police say the incident occurred at the intersection of Whatawhata Road and Poaka Avenue, in Dinsdale, about 1.40pm.

Diversions will continue to be in place for several hours.
