One person dead after motorcycle crash in South Auckland

One person has died after a motorcycle crash in the South Auckland suburb of Flat Bush early this morning.

Emergency services were called to the crash on Stancombe Road just before 6am.

It's unknown at this stage is anyone else was involved in the crash.

Police say diversions have been put into place along Chapel Road and Erica Road.

The Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
