Dame Valerie Adams' grandmother has passed away at the age of 68.
Finau (Noma) Otuafi had battled peritoneal cancer since 2014, losing her battle with the disease.
Taking to Instagram, Adams paid tribute to her grandmother.
"My heart hurts," she wrote.
"Rest in Love my beautiful Grandma. Say hi to Mum for me."

Adams is currently on the Gold Coast, preparing for the start of the Commonwealth Games later this week.
