A 45-year-old man has entered a plea of not guilty to murdering a woman in Greymouth last month, at an appearance in the Christchurch High Court.
The accused, George Sean Warren, appeared via video link.
The woman was fatally shot at her home, sparking an armed offenders call out. Several children including some of her own were home at the time of the shooting. The 43-year-old died at the scene.
The murder accused, has elected trial by jury, and will appear again at a hearing on February 9, 2018.
