A motorcyclist has died following a single-vehicle crash in Cadrona Valley, south of Wanaka early this morning.
Police say they were called to the incident around 7.30am but the crash is understood to have happened some time earlier.
The motorcyclist was found dead at the scene on Cadrona Valley Road, which runs from Wanaka down to Cadrona.
According to police, the serious crash unit has examined the scene and is currently making inquiries into the circumstances of the crash.
