Motorcyclist dies in New Plymouth crash

A motorcyclist has died in a single-vehicle crash in New Plymouth this morning.

The crash occurred near the intersection with Victoria Road on Carrington Street.

Police say they were alerted to the crash around 9.45am.

The Serious Crash Unit are at the scene.

Motorists are being warned to expected delays.
