Man left in critical condition after motorcycle crash south of Auckland

A man has been left in a critical condition after crashing through a fence on his motorcycle. 

Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust said the man in his 40s came off his Harley Davidson motorcycle at 12.30pm today in Mangatawhiri, just south of Auckland. 

The man needed to be given blood. 

Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust flew him to Waikato Hospital.
