A man has been charged over the shooting of another man in the Auckland suburb of Whenuapai, last week.
Police were called to a property on Brigham Creek Road on Monday January 14 where a man was found with gunshot wounds.
The victim is now in a stable condition in hospital.
Police say a man, 42, has been arrested and charged with wounding with intent and unlawful possession of a restricted weapon, and will appear in the Waitakere District Court today.
Police say their inquiries are ongoing and further charges may be likely.
