Man accused of murdering Dunedin teenager Amber-Rose Rush pleads not guilty

Dr Venod Skantha denies murdering the 16-year-old, who was found dead in her home in February.

The man accused of killing Dunedin teenager Amber-Rose Rush has pleaded not guilty to murder.

Amber-Rose, 16, was found dead in her home in Dunedin in February, 2018.

Appearing in the High Court at Dunedin today Dr Venod Skantha, 30, also pleaded not guilty to four charges of threatening to kill.

A jury of 10 men and two women have been selected to hear the case.
