The Government will announce its planned changes to employment law later today.
It's expected there will be amendments to the 90-day trial and the so-callled Hobbit Law, which means independent contractors are not considered employees.
Requirements for mandatory meal and rest breaks will be strengthened after National gave employers the ability to compensate workers for missed breaks.
