Northland woman Jayne Barnett paints beautiful rocks and hides them around parks in Kerikeri.

Her designs have become so well-known that local children call them "JB rocks", without knowing the true identity of "JB".

Barnett told 1 NEWS her hobby started four years ago after a rock hunting expedition.

"Most of them you’ll never, ever see again," she said of her creations.
