Firefighters are battling a large house fire in Mangere in South Auckland.
It was initially reported that a garage had caught fire on Ashgrove Road just after 3pm, however on arrival firefighters found the fire had spread to the house on the site.
Nine crews are working to extinguish the blaze.
While there are no reported injuries, there are concerns that the fire is spreading to a neighbouring property.
