New Zealand's first digger-themed playground, Dig This, has opened in Invercargill.
Dig This is the latest attraction from the Richardson Group and is the ultimate experience for those looking to have a go on some big boy's toys.
Featuring an array of bulldozers and excavators for people to drive, Richardson Group director Scott O'Donnell hopes it will bring a new type of tourism to the Deep South.
"What we're looking for is the medium top end type tourist, I get concerned that New Zealand is being overrun by the twenty dollar a day people, which I don't think are good for our tourism market," Mr O'Donnell told 1 NEWS.
Adults can expect to pay around one to two hundred dollars for over an hour's play, with kids paying a lot less.
"You know we're not doing cheap things, we're doing good quality things at a fair price," Mr O'Donnell said.
Dig This is the third Richardson Group project in Invercargill in three years, where they also own Transport World and Motorcycle Mecca.
