Fire at Kaitaia Gun Club being investigated by police

A fire at the Kaitaia Gun Club in Northland is being investigated by police.

In a statement police say emergency services were notified around 4am about the fire on Okahu Downs Drive.

Police are investigating the early morning blaze.

No one was in the property and there have been no injuries reported.

The fire has been extinguished.

Police are carrying out a scene examination and working with Fire Safety Investigators to determine the cause of the fire.
