Emergency services are responding to a fire at a building in Riverlands in Blenheim.
They were called to the building on Liverpool Street at about 5:20am.
According to Radio New Zealand the building belongs to Riverlands Winery.
Fire and emergency New Zealand has told 1 NEWS the fire, which was at one end of the building, has been contained although it was “burning well” when six fire engines were earlier called to the scene.
A Fire Investigator has arrived on site and will work to determine the cause of the blaze.
