'Extensive' delays following crash on SH1 flyover bridge in central Auckland

A light truck has crashed and blocked one lane of State Highway 1 along central Auckland's Victoria Park flyover.

The accident happened around 1pm today and has caused extensive delays for south bound traffic.

Police are asking motorists heading south on SH1 to avoid the part of road that is still blocked.

The truck driver was not injured.
