A first of its kind Te Reo Maori cartoon Pipi Ma premiered in Auckland today.
Excited children, adults and teachers were all out in force at the launch.
Pipi Ma creators Kristin Ross and Hohepa Tuahine's aim is to immerse preschoolers in Te Reo Maori.
"This is the first time our preschoolers are going to have an opportunity to see a cartoon made by Maori for Maori, so they see a true representation of themselves," says Ms Ross.
The cartoon will be available on the 23rd of April on the Pipi Ma website.
