All northbound lanes have reopened on Auckland's Northern Motorway on the North Shore after it was blocked following a serious crash in which a car rolled.
All lanes north of the Onewa Rd off-ramp were blocked after the crash was reported around 1.10pm.
One person has been transported to Auckland Hospital with serious injuries following the incident.
All traffic is being diverted off the motorway at Onewa Rd.
Motorists have been advised to avoid heading for the Auckland Harbour Bridge and to use alternative routes north via the Western Ring Route on SH16 and SH18, NZTA Auckland said.
NZTA is warning of delays.
Police say traffic is very heavy in the area and motorists have been thanked for their patience following the disruption.
The Serious Crash Unit is in attendance and will continue to investigate.
