Emergency services are at the scene following the sudden death of a child in an incident in Dargaville this afternoon.
Police say they were alerted to the incident just before 12.30pm, with the NZ Herald reporting that a two-year-old was suspected of drowning.
Police confirmed the death is not being treated as suspicious.
