A child has been struck by a car on a street alongside Auckland's Middlemore Hospital this morning.
The accident occurred around 8.35am on Gray Ave in the south Auckland suburb of Mangere, a police spokesperson said.
The child suffering non life-threatening injuries, and was transported to Middlemore Hospital nearby the site of the accident.
Gray Ave has been closed by police and diversions are in place.
