Auckland Santa Parade cancelled by stormy weather

Auckland's Santa Parade has been postponed today due to bad weather.

Organisers posted on Facebook saying that the parade would be delayed until next Sunday, December 2.

The change in plans follows Farmers decision to sack it's established Santa, Neville Baker, after he made inappropriate comments.

After playing the role of Santa Claus for five years Mr Baker was replaced after saying he wouldn't hire women to play Father Christmas.
