It was back in April when the story first developed. Hilary Barry scored a couple of tickets to see Taylor Swift and she wanted to take along a superfan with her.
Her lovely dad Steve nominated his daughter Gracie to be Hilary's plus one.
His wife died of cancer in 2011 when Taylor Swift was in Auckland so Gracie didn't go.

"It was a bit of a rough time .. I felt bad about that because Gracie loves Taylor."
So Seven Sharp surprised her at school with the ticket, but what she didn't know is that she also had a pass to meet Taylor as well!
