Scientists uncover overlooked danger in Auckland’s volcanic field

Critical research into volcanic gas found that over the past 200,000 years, Auckland’s volcanoes have released about 26,000 kilotonnes of carbon dioxide and 9000 kilotonnes of sulphur dioxide.
