Television host Matt Chisholm is on a mission to understand why Kiwi men are struggling with their mental health, and what we can do about it.
With NZ men taking their own lives at a rate of over one a day, Matt wants to break the silence around male suicide and change the view of what the classic ‘Kiwi bloke’ is, and most importantly show it’s OK to talk about how you’re feeling.
From rugby clubs, construction sites, boardrooms, men’s barbershops, and boxing gyms, men are redefining what it means to be ‘man enough’.
In these interactions are the seeds of answers: men talking frankly about their emotions, spaces at work that feel safe to share, and incredible communities reaching in and holding each other up.
This is Matt Chisholm’s mission to change our minds about what it means to be a Kiwi man in order to save lives. Are we man enough to listen?
